Kalkan-Kaş Turkey

Hello Everyone!

Today i'll tell you about my visit to Kalkan and Kaş on summer 2017.
Everything has started with my friend's call and he invited me to his hometown Kalkan.In two days i took a bus from İzmir to Kalkan and when i arrived to this hidden heaven,it impressed me deeply.

The first day my friend took me to a restaurant called Old Trading House which has seaview.The food was definitely delicious and view was incredible.Unfortunately my phone is not that good about taking photos but i will show the view however it's not so good.

After a good dinner he showed me the town and we went to sleep to gain our energy for next exciting day.Next day we rent a car and drove to Kaş,it took almost 20 minutes.The way is a bit dangerous because the other side of the way is a cliff.If you drive slow and carefully,you will not have a trouble.
Kaş is also a small and clean town,it's surely larger than Kalkan.In Kaş,you can find nice hotels and restaurants,you can go join activities such as scuba-diving.The sea is perfectly clear and scuba-diving will also help you to discover under the Mediterrenean Sea.

On the right side of the town,you will see a camping area and behind of that you'll see Antiphellos Ancient city.Amphitheatre and it's view are wonderful.You can watch the sunset and also you can clearly see the small Greek island called 'Meis' or 'Kastellorizo'.You can find daily trips by ferry to this island from center of the Kaş.Unfortunately i didn't have chance to visit,maybe next time!

In Kaş,you can find many small and cute restaurants or bars.Their concepts are wonderful.I advice you to discover these beautiful streets and the places hidden inside.

After Kaş,our next destination was Kaputaş Beach which is on the road between Kalkan and Kaş.It was my favorite place in this trip.The sea is welcoming you with its Turquoise color.You should park your car somewhere safe,there is a parking area nearby the rocks.You'll walk a bit and you have to walk down from stairs.It's free to visit Kaputaş Beach.There are dressing cabinets and a small café.
Water is cold a bit because another natural water source which is underground,meeting with sea and that makes the water colder.It's quickly getting deeper.Usually sand included with small rocks.

The next day,we went to Saklıkent Canyon.It was almost 30-40 minutes from Kalkan by drive.It's another charming place for people who likes rafting.The water is clean but also too cold.But it's worth to explore.You can find restaurants around the riverside.If you walk down a bit,you can find a waterfall.You should take suitable shoes if you want to enjoy this place.
After Canyon,we went through Patara Beach.The enterance has a small price.It's completely a sandy beach.And also the house of caretta-caretta sea turtles.Unfortunately i forgot to take photos while enjoying the sea.

It was short but a great trip for me.I'll definitely go there again.I suggest everyone to live this dream once in the life.
